It took me about two months to decide but I will vote for PTI. Though i wrote a blog in its support a lot earlier but after completion of Metro bus Service and Political moves like Laptop distribution i felt confused.Now i am clear that in a period of five years,A lot more should have been delivered.There should have been lot more democratic conduct within the Party,More systems/institutions(especially Police,LDA,Provincial tax collection) should have been developed rather than a single person micromanaging the whole province. Frankly i am not sure if PTI would actually b able to deliver what it has committed but this party has a leader who is in a habit of accepting challenges and achieving them(Building a National level party from the scratch, Winning World cup,Building Shaukat Khanum Hospital were all considered impossible tasks to achieve).
I prefer being uncertain about a better future rather a sure shot status quo. Note:Till today my neutral analysis about Election outcome is 120 seats for PMLN and 45 National Assembly seats for PTI yet i have decided to vote for PTI.

ReplyDeleteBut Imran Khan should be given a chance. His past record regarding cricket or be it Shaukat Khannum have surely amazed people because he had only received criticism. The same is happening with him in politics where people are making personal judgements regarding his marriage and so on. I really want him to win. In sha Allah. Imran Khan has that ability to confront the challenges & the hardships.
And if IK doesn't win, then I reckon it's our loss.
When it comes to choosing a party in the upcoming elections. It is the dillema of choosing the lesser evil rather than the greater good. When it comes to PTI i believe in Imran Khan and perceive that he is a leader this country deserves but I am still skeptical about the team Imran Khan has. In his past successful endeavours Imran worked with the people of Pakistan to complete his job. This time it is traditional politicians who are part of his team. It is yet to see whether Imran is capable of this completing the task with a somewhat dysfunctional team. On the other hand I do not trust the PMLn leadership but one believes they have a team with a proven track record based on their tenure in their own party and not other parties. A possible solution that comes to mind in such a dilemma would be to vote for people rather than parties. The traditional politics in Pakistan hasn't seen a change in the past decades due to party politics. And for real 'tabdeeli' this has to change. It is also important to remember that when you vote for a person don't vote on their cast, creed or how influential they are but rather on their ideologies.

Sir the only thing that I disagree with is the prediction at the end. If we get 20 seats from KPK, u r only giving 25 frm Punjab out of 140 and remember that there are 40 million Youth about to vote for the first time and 30.7 million bogus votes have been discarded. Even if 10 million vote for PTI we can expect something unexpected for many and lastly the competition is stiff in Central Punjab. We have seen gigantic jalsas of PTI in South and North Punjab.
ReplyDeleteOnly time would tell but PMLN had about 92 seats in the last assembly.I personally think that they would improve(there are no signs of their deterioration).PTI would gain from those voters who are traditionally PPP voters but cant vote for Nwaz Sharif under any circumstances+urban voters of age less than 40.For them Imran is the option.Major losers from the last assembly are likely to be PLM(Q),ANP,JUI.Their lost seats would enhance strength for both PTI and PMLN in the new assembly 2013.
DeleteI support PTI for many reasons. firstly we have tried ppp and pmln many times and they have always failed us. secondly, we cannot vote for pmln just because of the metro busses and danish schools! we can't afford fancy things right now. 3 billion rs. were spent on the metro project and its minimum maintenance charges are 1 billion rs. per year! we are already in debt and metro busses shouldn't be our priority right now. UN declared education emergency in Pakistan. so it is a very serious situation. money spent on danish schools could have helped 660 schools approximately to upgrade to higher levels. imran khan wants to establish uniform educational system.. that means he wants a rich man's child and a poor's man child to study the same syllabus! so for that we need good government schools which imran khan is promising us. there are no corruption charges against him. so why not give him a chance?

میں اس نتیجہ پر پہنچا ہوں اور پوری ذمہ داری سے اسے بیان کرنا چاہتا ہوں کہ عمران خان صاحب کی پارٹی، ہر اعتبار سے اس ملک کے لیے خطرناک ہے، اور اسے ووٹ دینا کامطلب ہے،اپنے ملک کے مسائل میں اضافہ کرنا۔عمران خان صاحب خود ایک سراب کے پیچھے بھاگ رہے ہیں، اور لوگوں کو اس کے پیچھے بھگا رہے ہیں۔ مجھے یقین ہے کہ جب یہ لوگ منزل پر پہنچےگے تو وہاں پانی نہیں ہو گا، محض ریت ہوگی۔ اس وقت عمران خان صاحب کے حامیوں کی فرسٹریشن کا کیا عالم ہوگا؟ یہ محتاج بیان نہیں ہے۔
عمران خان صاحب کے سارے دعوے "دیوانے کی بڑ" کے سوا کچھ نہیں۔ ہر وہ وعدہ، جس سے عوام کو متوجہ کیا جاسکے، آج کل خان صاحب کی زبان سےصادر ہو جاتا ہے۔آخری دعوی یہ ہے کہ ہم ریاست مدینہ جیسی اسلامی فلاحی مملکت قائم کریں گے۔ سوال یہ ہے اس ٹیم کے ساتھ اگر وہ الٹے بھی لٹک جائیں، تو کیا برطانیہ جیسی فلاحی ریاست کی گرد کو بھی پہنچ سکتے ہیں؟ ریاست مدینہ تو دور کی بات ہے۔کیا مغربیت کی شکار خواتین اور سرمایہ داروں کے ٹٹوءوں اورجاگیرداروں پر مشتمل ٹیم ، اسلامی فلاحی مملکت قائم کرنے کی معمولی سی بھی صلاحیت رکھتی ہے؟ کیا آپ نے یہ دیکھا ہے کہ کھجور کی گٹھلی بوئی گئی ہو، اور آم کا پیڑ اگا ہو؟
معاملے کا ایک اور پہلو دیکھیے۔ مجھے یقین ہے انعام کہ آپ میرے ساتھ انتہائی اخلاص کا تعلق رکھتے ہیں۔ مگر اگرمیں بیمار ہو جاءوں تو کبھی آپ کے پاس دوا کا نسخہ لکھوانے نہیں آءوں گا۔ اگر میرے ارد گرد جو ڈاکٹر ہیں، وہ نالائق اور اور نااہل ہوں، پھر بھی میں یہی معلوم کروں گا کہ ان میں سے کون سب سے بہتر ہے، اور پھر اسی سے دوا حاصل کروں گا۔مگر ایک شخص خواہ کتنا ہی مخلص اور دیانت دار کیوں نہ ہو، اگر وہ مستند معالج نہیں ہے، تو اس کے پاس کبھی نہیں جاءوں گا۔
پچھلے 15، 20 سال کے تجربے نے یہ بتا دیا ہے کہ عمران خان صاحب سیاستدان نہیں ہیں، اور کبھی نہیں بن سکتے۔ انہیں ووٹ دینا ایسا ہی ہے جیسے کسی غیر مستند معالج سے دوا لکھوانا۔
وہ سیاستدان کیوں نہیں ہیں؟ بے شمار واقعات ہیں۔ چند دن پہلے ہی انہوں نے فرمایا کہ وہ وزیراعظم بن کر صدر زرداری سے حلف نہیں لیں گے۔ یہ ایک فقرہ دو باتیں ظاہر کرتا ہے۔ ایک تو یہ کہ وہ علم سیاسیات سے نا بلد ہیں۔ اس لیے کہ زرداری سے لیا جانے والا حلف، زرداری سے وفاداری کا نہیں ہو گا، بلکہ آئین پاکستان اور ریاست پاکستان سے وفاداری کا ہوگا۔دوسرے اس بات سے یہ ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ بلاوجہ انہوں نے یہ کہہ کر اپنے لیے ایسا مسئلہ پیدا کر دیا، جسے پیدا کرنے کی ضرورت ہی نہ تھی۔ اگر وہ یہ بات نہ کرتے تو ان کا کیا بگڑ جاتا۔فرض کیا کسی معجزے سے وہ وزیراعظم بن جاتے ہیں، اور ان کا یہ عظم برقرار رہتا ہے، تو کیا آئینی بحران نہیں پیدا ہو جائے گا؟ اگر قائداعظم بطور گورنر جنرل ، لارڈ ماءنٹ بیٹن سے شاہ برطانیہ اور اس کے خاندان سے وفارداری کا حلف لے سکتے ہیں تو خان صاحب زرداری سے آئین اور ریاست پاکستان سے وفاداری کا حلف کیوں نہیں لے سکتے؟ کیا اس بات سے یہ ثابت نہیں ہوتا کہ ان کا سیاسی آئی۔کیو نقطہ انجماد سے تھوڑا سا ہی نیچے ہے؟
آپ کو سال ڈیڑھ سال قبل ہونے والا قصور کا پی۔ٹی۔ آئی کا جلسہ عام یاد ہے۔ جلسے کے آخر میں لوگ اپنی اپنی کرسیاں اٹھا کر چلتے بنے تھے۔ مجھے یقین ہے کہ اگر عمران خان صاحب 20، 25 ممبر قومی اسمبلی میں پہنچانے میں کامیاب بھی ہوگئے تو، یہ لوگ قصور کے جلسے کی طرح اپنی اپنی کرسیاں اٹھا کر اپنے گھروں کو، یعنی دوسری جماعتوں میں چلے جائیں گے۔
آخرمیں پرانی بات دہرانا چاہتا ہوں۔ ہمارا مسئلہ اصل میں سیاسی نہیں ہے۔ انسانی اور سماجی ہے۔ اسے اسی سطح پر حل کرنا ہوگا۔ اگر یہ اس سطح پر حل ہو گیا تو سیاسی مسئلہ بھی سیاسی کوشش سے حل ہو جائے گا۔ اگر اسے انسانی سطح پر حل نہ کیا گیا تو صرف سیاسی سطح پر جدوجہد کرنے سے یہ کبھی حل نہ ہو گا۔بس یہ ہوگا کہ عمران خان صاحب جیسے قیمتی افراد غلط رخ پر کوشش کرنے کے نتیجے میں ضائع ہوتے رہیں گے۔

ReplyDeleteUzair I am very clear that Imran Khan is not perfect.He has never held a Public office so he cant be judged on performance either.My objection is ON PMLN's under achievements in the last five years.Their performance looks good when compared to other provinces but i compare it with my expectations.
One thing which i admire about Imran is his determination.I just hope that he achieves for economy and education the way he has committed.
